Born in Sweden, Camilla was literally singing before she could talk. She started her musical training at the age of nine when she was accepted at Adolf Fredrik’s Music School.  She then received private lessons under opera singer Gunnar Lundberg and at the age of sixteen decided to move from classical to musical theatre.

She also worked on several projects for Swedish Television, both as an actress for SVT's teen series "Bullen" and as a speaker voice for Kanal 5.

At the age of 21, Camilla moved to London to pursue a career in musical theatre and to continue her vocal training. Two years later, she landed the understudy part of Esmeralda in “Notre Dame de Paris” at the Dominion Theatre in the West End, a role which she played on numerous occasions and later took over. During this contract, she was also asked to understudy and play the other female role of Fleur-de-lys.

Since then, Camilla has, apart from doing session and acting work, worked  as a cabaret  singer in France (at the "Relais de la Belle Epoque"), Sweden, Hungary (at the Marriott Hotel, where she was guest star at the Journalists' Ball and  New Year's show) and the UK ( at the Stagestar Cabaret and the "Love round Midnight" cabaret with Claire Dodin).

Workshops include: Michel Legrand’s musical “Marguerite” (originated the role of Anette), Chris Orton’s musical “My Land’s Shore” at the Royal Academy of Music (played the role of Catryn Llewis)

Fringe productions include: "Songs for a new world" and "Schwartz it all about" in Edinburgh. In London, the role of Zahrat-al- Khulub in the Finborough Theatre's revival of "Chu Chin Chow".

She has also sailed the high seas as lead production singer for P&O Cruises and Cunard Cruises and performed as a cabaret guest artist on Windstar cruises and Cunard Cruises.

After 15 years travelling the world, Camilla has returned to her native Sweden where she continues to act, do voice-over work, sing... and travel for work!
